Soča Experience is operated by the company DesignSpot s.p., which manages the website www.socaexperience.si.

These General Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the contractual relationship between Soča Experience (hereinafter referred to as “the provider”) and the customer who books or purchases activities, rentals, or other services offered by Soča Experience. By completing a reservation and making a payment (or deposit) for any service, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these General Terms and Conditions.

Reservation payment

Reservation of activities, guided tours and rentals: A valid reservation requires payment of the full amount for the selected service or as agreed upon or stated in the offer. The full amount must be paid at least 14 days before the reserved service or as agreed upon or stated in the offer.

Reservation of multiday activity packages: A valid reservation requires payment of 30% of the multiday activity package price or as agreed upon or stated in the offer. The remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days before the start of the package or as agreed upon or stated in the offer.

Payment confirmation: After the payment is made, the customer will receive a payment confirmation with details of the reserved service.

Cancellation by the Customer: The customer may cancel the reservation over a phone call or in writing via email addressed to info@socaexperience.si. In the event of a cancellation, cancellation fees will apply, which vary depending on the reserved service and the number of days remaining until the start of the reserved service.

Cancellation by Soča Experience: Soča Experience reserves the right to cancel a reservation in cases of force majeure, including but not limited to severe or unsafe weather conditions. In such circumstances, the customer will be informed promptly and an alternative date will be proposed. If rescheduling is not possible, Soča Experience will refund the full amount paid by the customer.

No Show: A customer who does not attend the reserved service (no show) is not entitled to a refund.

In the event of a cancellation by the customer, cancellation fees will apply, which vary depending on the selected service and the number of days remaining until the start of the reserved service:

 

Cancellation fees for activities, guided tours, and rentals:

  • 8 days or more before the service start date: 0% of the service price (free cancellation).
  • 7 days or fewer before the service start date: 100% of the service price (no refund).

Cancellation fees for multiday activity packages:

  • 21 days or more before the service start date: 0% of the service price (free cancellation).
  • 20 days or fewer before the service start date: 100% of the service price (no refund).

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment by bank transfer

We will send you our offer and payment details via email, including the payment amount, transaction account, reference, and purpose of payment. You can pay for the ordered service using a standard UPN payment order at a bank, post office, or through your online bank.

We will send you our offer and a payment link via email to complete the transaction through a safe electronic payment system. You can pay for the ordered service using your payment card. A 3% transaction fee applies to all card payments processed via Saferpay. If you wish to avoid these fees, we also offer bank transfer as an alternative payment method.

COMPLAINT PROCEDURE

Customer Complaint
  • The customer may file a complaint if they believe the agreed service was not performed to an adequate standard.
  • Responsible person: The designated complaint handler is a representative of Soča Experience (company employee), available at info@socaexperience.si or +386 30 652 548.
  • Complaint process: The customer should express their dissatisfaction directly to the company representative on the day of service delivery. If this is not possible, the customer may file their complaint at the Soča Experience office at Čezsoča 129, 5230 Bovec. The customer and company representative will jointly prepare a written complaint report detailing the nature of the dissatisfaction and any proposed solutions. If no mutual agreement can be reached, the complaint will be processed in accordance with applicable legislation.
  • Response time: Customers can expect a response to their complaint within 14 working days of submission. For more complex complaints, this period may be extended, but the customer must be notified of any delay.
  • Further appeals: If unsatisfied with the company’s response, the customer retains the right to pursue further legal action through the courts.

  • Soča Experience (hereinafter referred to as “SE”) respects the privacy of its customers and is committed to protecting all personal data provided by users. Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation of the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union (GDPR).
  • When browsing the website www.socaexperience.si, users remain anonymous and no personal data is collected. For analytical and statistical purposes, Soča Experience may collect limited, non-personal data that does not allow identification of individual users.
  • In certain parts of the website, users may voluntarily provide personal data, for example when making inquiries, bookings, registrations, or participating in promotional activities. Soča Experience undertakes to treat such data as confidential and to use it exclusively for the purpose for which it was provided. Personal data will not be shared with third parties or unauthorized persons, except where required by law or necessary for the performance of the requested service.

  • The server on which the website is hosted is located in a secure environment and protected by appropriate technical and organizational measures.
  • Personal data we collect: The personal data we collect for the purpose of responding to inquiries and preparing offers includes: Name, surname, address (in the case of purchasing a gift voucher), email address, and age. We obtain this personal data voluntarily through forms on our website or through direct contact.
  • Use of personal data: We use your personal data primarily for communication and informational purposes, but it may also be used for research on the usage of our website. Only staff responsible for carrying out these activities are authorized to process your personal data.
  • Storage and Processing of Personal Data: We store and process your personal data solely for internal purposes and will never share it with third parties without your consent. We will never sell, rent, or disclose your personal identification data to external parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
